We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in accordance with early childhood education standards
Supervise and support children's daily routines, including play, meals, rest, and hygiene
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and learning
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and daily activities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Assist in organising nursery events and outings, including driving when necessary
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and management skills
Requirements
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting
Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent)
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in nursery education
Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Organised, proactive, with a genuine passion for early childhood education
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 14.50-15.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
