We are seeking a

Level 3 Early Years Educator/Practitioner

to join our team at

Windmill Preschool

. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering the development of young children, creating engaging learning experiences that promote their growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress. Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program and share best practices. Observe, record and publish reports on online journals weekly. We have minimal paperwork and no ticking unnecessary boxes!

Requirements

A

Full and Relevant

LEVEL 3

qualification in early childhood education or childcare is required. Holds an Early Years Paediatric certificate, or is willing to train. Experience working with young children in an early years setting. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom activities effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment. Leadership qualities to guide and support fellow educators when necessary. Has a strong understanding of Safeguarding within the Early Years sector. Can follow instructions and work confidently on their own if required.

The Windmill Preschool is a pack-away setting at Bolford Street Hall, Thaxted, Essex.
The Preschool operates from 9am to 3pm, 5 days a week, term-time only.

Working hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm

. These are required hours and are unnegotiable. Additional training throughout the year to include Continuing Professional Development.
This position is full or part-time (five, four or three full day per week).

This position requires an Enhanced DBS check, all the necessary background checks, satisfactory references following our Safer Recruitment Policy with a 3 month term time probationary period.
