Goldilocks Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic and caring
Early Years Educator
to join our friendly team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for early years education who enjoys supporting children in their learning and development. You will help provide a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging learning activities in line with the
EYFS framework and statutory guidance
Support daily routines and ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing nursery environment
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and team members through clear and effective communication
Observe, assess, and record children's developmental progress
Lead activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and
safeguarding, health & safety
Encourage and support parental involvement in their child's learning and development
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and contribute to continuous improvement across the nursery
Requirements & Experience
A
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
in Early Years, Childcare, or a related field (essential)
Sound knowledge of the
EYFS framework and statutory requirements
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
Ability to work confidently as part of a team while also using your own initiative
Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
A genuine passion for early years education and child development
A positive, caring, and proactive approach to working with young children
