We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Supervise and support children during play, learning sessions, and daily routines
Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Lead small groups of children during educational activities, ensuring individual needs are met
Assist in the organisation of nursery events and outings
Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and guidance
Ensure compliance with all childcare policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Contribute to the ongoing assessment of children's progress and maintain accurate records
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable
Demonstrable management or leadership experience within childcare or educational environments
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with childcare management systems is advantageous
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transport arrangements for nursery activities or outings
