Please note this is a TERM TIME only position pay is pro rata, Looking for someone to do a minimum of 2 day weeks to cover ratio, but more hours available if preferred

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool practitioner to join our pre-school team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and be eager and motivated to create a nurturing, welcoming environment for our village children.

Responsibilities

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development relating to the EYFS at all times
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a structured daily routine
- Drive continuous improvement in teaching methods and curriculum delivery

- Be able to work as part of a team to motivate and encourage each other at all times

- Applicants must be aware and knowledgeable of OFSTED expectations and regulations

-We are looking for someone who is looking to progress in their career with the deputy manager position being an opportunity in the near future

Experience

- Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings is preferred but not a necessity
- Level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education is Essential
- Ability to manage and engage with young children effectively
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

-Management experience would be an advantage as the applicant would be in charge on days where the manager is not in.

- Basic computer skills ideal

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
