Little Owls Pre-School is looking for an

enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate

LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED DEPUTY MANAGER

to join our small, friendly, and well-established team.

Little Owls is a warm and nurturing, independent pre-school based at Hutton C of E Primary School, caring for children aged 2-4 years.

We pride ourselves on creating a happy, supportive environment where children and staff thrive.

Opening hours: 9:00-3:00

Term time only

Hours of work: Part-time - 3 days per week (8:45-3:15 term time only)

Opportunity to increase to 5 days per week from September 2026

Additional hours available to cover staff sickness

Excellent hourly rate of pay for the right candidate.

About you:

You will be caring, positive, and dependable, with a genuine passion for early years education. You'll be an excellent team player, strong leadership and have fantastic communication skills, and enjoy supporting children's learning through play -- all while having fun along the way!

Safeguarding:Little Owls Pre-School is fully committed to safeguarding and follows safer recruitment practices. The successful applicant will be required to complete:

A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check

Two written references

Relevant safeguarding and first aid training (once in post)
