Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Develop and implement engaging learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring that all documentation is up to date. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning by adhering to health and safety regulations. Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery setting. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively. Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's development through play-based learning experiences.
