Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and develop. The Nursery Practitioner will be responsible for managing daily activities, supporting children's growth, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

Provide high-quality childcare in a nursery setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Safeguard daily. understand policies and procedures and ensure they are being met at all times Have a good knowledge of EYFS, birth to 5 matters, SEND code of practice and the graduated approach. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Follow curriculum Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Work in partnership with families effectively. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development in accordance with nursery policies. Work as a team Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early childhood education. Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space to provide a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong communication skills Level 3 Carry out safeguarding, FGM, Prevent, welcomm training Hold a DBS A thorough understanding of child development principles and nursery practices. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 22,880.00-23,744.00 per year
