We are recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Required for an immediate start.

Salary Range: Grade 5 (scp 7-11). 26,403.00 - 28,142.00 (FTE, Pro Rata)

30 hours per week across 5 days. Term time only + 5 training days.

St Mary's Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. The successful candidate will be working with children within a classroom setting primarily but would be expected to embrace opportunities to work throughout our school including interventions and SEND.

The successful candidate will be hard working, reliable and committed to ensuring children excel in all areas. As a Level 3 Teaching assistant, you will act with a degree of autonomy under the supervision of the teaching team, to deliver high quality classroom support and intervention.

The school takes the safeguarding of pupils extremely seriously. Therefore, in accordance with Safer Recruitment guidelines, references will be taken up before interview and identity and qualification checks undertaken. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check will be required before starting employment.
