38,016 based on a 45 hour week

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:


Work pattern - Monday to Friday covering start times between 04:00-08:00 Curtain sided trailer deliveries of palletised products to a variety of customers Can be asked to drive LGV Cat C vehicles as required Can be morning run returning to base and second afternoon run Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card Must have a minimum of 12 months commercial 'on the road' HGV Class 1 driving experience Must be flexible to drive different classes of vehicle as and when required as well as returning to base and then completing second runs A 'can do' attitude and be a team player Live locally to Rugby CV21 1QN
