Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LGV Class 1 (C+E) Bulk Tipper Truck Driver to join our team. Can be based from any of our depots in North Berwick, Arbroath or Turriff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of various bulk commodities nationwide. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, the ability to manage time effectively and ensure that the vehicle / customer sites are kept clean and tidy at all times

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies. Manage loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. Assist in the maintenance of the lorry by reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Experience

Proven experience as a LGV driver in a similar role Valid UK C+E driving licence, Drivers CPC and Drivers Tacho Card - No DD convictions within last 10 years. Experience with bulk tippers is advantageous but not essential. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
