Job Overview

We have an opportunity to be part of the team at PW Gates, for a Class 1 Driver.

We are looking for a full time class 1 tramper driver, duties will involve delivering palletised freight across the uk, performing trailer changes with drivers and live loading/unloading.

Role Overview

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to include but not limited to:

This is a full-time equivalent position, hours between sunday to saturday

Must have full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.

Must have full DCPC & digital-tacho card.

Must have no more than 6 points on their licence & No IN or DR Codes on their HGV class 1 licence.

Experience:

curtainside: 2 years (preferred) commercial Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

Operate LGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records. Handle flatbed loads securely, ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures are followed. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and communicate effectively with dispatch. Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to company policies regarding commercial driving.
