We are now looking for an LGV Class 2 Driver to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 6am and 7am.

The Role




As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will support our Howden's Joinery contract, working from our Erith site.




Specifically, you will undertake around 8-10 deliveries per day to Howden's depots across Essex, Kent and the Home Counties.




You will also work to a pre-routed schedule, ensuring timely drops at the depots where your palletised loads will be loaded and unloaded by forklift.




Additionally, you will:




Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed



Please note, this role will require light manual handling.




About You




To be considered as an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:




A full, valid Class 2 driving licence with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes) A valid Driver CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph card
