Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled LGV Class C+E Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.

Duties

Operate Vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Experience

Proven experience as a LGV C+E Driver is preferred. Familiarity with Curtain side operations is advantageous. A valid HGV licence is required, along with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
