The Transport Department, require an enthusiastic, self motivated and flexible individual to join our drivers and fleet of vehicles to support our ' Just in Time' manufacturing ethos. They must also be willing to deliver Dextra Group goods to customers in both the UK and EU countries.


MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Deliveries to customers in both the UK and EU countries. Collection of raw materials and components from suppliers. Collection of waste lighting from Dexreco customers. Load and unload your own vehicle with a truck mounted forklift. Compliance with the Drivers' Hours rules. Compliance with the Working Time Directive. Compliance with all Traffic Regulations. Record a weekly time sheet and maintain tachograph records. General maintenance and cleanliness of allocated vehicle. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Handling of paperwork. Route planning. Security of allocated vehicle and the load. Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company. Follow the requirements of the Company's ISO Procedure. Follow the Company's Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.
POST REQUIREMENTS


LGV cat C + E licence. Current drivers qualification and digital tachograph card. Valid passport. Flexible approach to working hours with overnights and weekend work required. A strong commitment to Health & Safety. Good communication skills. Good problem-solving skills. Time management and organization skills. Attention to detail. Physically fit.
