Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Van driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving LGV vehicles nationwide. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate LWB/Luton Vans to transport goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Multi Drop experience would be an advantage

Qualifications

Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items as required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.
