Job Summary

Delivery of bagged flour to customers shops as planned, which will include some manual handling of product on multi drop basis, in a safe, legal, and timely fashion, whilst maintaining a world class standard of performance and public image. The Shift pattern for this role is: Monday to Friday 48 hours per week, with occasional weekends and overnights as and when required.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

oCompletion of daily checks in line with EU Legislation and the Company procedures

oSafe and legal driving and operation of company Heavy Goods Vehicles and equipment, in line with the Highway Code and all Company operating procedures

oUpholding the good repute of the Company by ensuring that a positive, polite and hygienic image is always given to both Customers and members of the public

oAccurate record keeping for deliveries and legal compliance in line with EU Legislation and Company procedures, including driver tachograph regulations and working time regulations.

oEnsuring that each load is both legal and secure

oContribute to the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicles, for example sweeping out, washing and brushing

oCategory C+E Licence holder for a minimum of 2 years driving experience

oDigital Tachograph Driver Smart Card

oDriver CPC Qualification Card

oThe ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure

oReliable and flexible

oExcellent customer service

oGood geographical knowledge of the UK road network

Full training for our bags and bulk vehicles will be given to the successful candidate.
