We are now recruiting for

LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers

on a full time, permanent basis based for various shift patterns in Newton Abbot

Your role will include you operating refrigerated articulated and rigid vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled, frozen and ambient stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as local convenience stores for a major retailer


Salary/Basic Rates:

Days - Guaranteed annual salary of 39,598 Guaranteed 50 hours per week Overtime paid at an enhanced rate

Shifts:

5 from 7 - Saturday to Wednesday Start times of between 04:30 & 06:00

Qualifications

Possession of LGV C+E Licence Current DCPC Newly qualified drivers considered Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and Current Drivers Hours Desirable but full training can be provided Excellent Communication Skills Ability to Work Effectively and Accurately in a Fast Paced Environment Effectively Prioritise Workload in Order to Meet Set Deadlines
