Carlow Plant & Commercials Ltd is a successful family-owned company providing Maintenance, Servicing and Repairs to a wide range of Commercial Vehicles and Construction Plant.
Due to the continued success of our business and our ongoing company expansion we currently have a vacancy for a LGV Mechanic/Fitter to join our team. The LGV Technician / LGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter role includes:
Service, maintenance and repairs to a range of LGV Vehicles Diagnosing faults and rectifying defects Preparing vehicles for MOT Electrical fault finding and repairs Adhering to health and safety regulations Working to VOSA standards
Essential Qualities for the LGV Technician / LGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter:
Previous experience in mechanics Qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair Previous experience in MOT prep (not essential) Driving licence Ability to work well under pressure Team player Ability to use own initiative Attention to detail Problem solving skills Available for overtime
