Join Our Team as a Liaison Officer

Are you a great communicator who thrives on building trust and making things run smoothly? At Bolton at Home, we're looking for a proactive and people-focused Liaison Officer to support the delivery of our property repairs and improvement schemes. In this role, you'll be the vital link between our customers, contractors, and internal teams--keeping everyone informed, involved, and confident in the work being done.

You'll help make sure repairs and improvement works are delivered efficiently and with minimal disruption, supporting customers at every stage. Whether it's coordinating decant arrangements, resolving issues, or ensuring everyone has the information they need, you'll play a key role in making our services feel personal, reliable, and respectful.

What you'll be doing

Act as the main point of contact for customers during planned works, keeping them informed and involved throughout. Work closely with contractors, internal teams, and external partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery of repairs and improvement schemes. Support customers with practical arrangements--such as temporary moves (decants), form-filling, and accessing allowances. Handle queries and complaints promptly, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. Maintain accurate records and monitor customer satisfaction to help improve service delivery. Promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and ensure Health & Safety standards are always upheld.

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for someone who:
Is an excellent communicator and confident engaging with a wide range of people. Has experience in customer-facing roles, ideally within housing, construction, or a similar environment. Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail. Can remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in challenging situations. Understands the importance of inclusivity and accessibility in service delivery. Is comfortable working with data, forms, records, and digital tools.
