About the Role
As part of a team, you will be responsible for providing an excellent, welcoming and efficient service to all customers. Support people to find the information and resources they need. Promote customer choice and enjoyment in reading. Assist customers and promote the use of IT and digital services.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
Have an interest in reading, learning and culture.
Have experience of, and an interest in, digital technology, including an ECDL or ITQ level 2 qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Understand the importance of delivering a high level of customer service.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver events, activities, and taster sessions.
Have good literacy and numeracy skills to undertake the duties of the role.
Be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Have good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
In addition, we also expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
