About the role:

To provide an effective and efficient van delivery service across the libraries for Cultural Services in Powys as and when required.

About you:

Experience of driving larger vehicles Clean driving licence with category B entitlement (category A if passed driving test before 1990 The role is physically demanding, involving an element of lifting and carrying. A good understanding of the role of the library service in the community Thorough and methodical Must have held a driving licence for at least 2 years

What you will do:

Cover illness and holidays of the delivery drivers Collect and deliver resources, service equipment and materials to all libraries, museums and archives in the county Take day-to-day responsibility for the service van including pre-use inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive

There is no DBS requirement for this position


Service: Libraries and Museums


Salary: Grade 4 Point 5 to Point 6 25,583 to 25,989 per annum pro rata 13.26 to 13.47 per hour
