This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in Consulting as an Intern in our Life Sciences team! We will be hosting placements in October, November and January.

What you bring:

We are looking for internship candidates who are interested in learning more about a career in commercial strategy consulting with a specific focus on Life Sciences. We have entry level Consultant positions available for top performing interns upon completion of the internship. To apply you will have:

A strong interest in Life Sciences A strong academic background, including degree level study at 2:1 or above Excellent communication skills High percentile numerical, verbal and inductive reasoning skills A strong desire to work in a fast paced commercially agile environment Enthusiasm, curiosity and a belief that you can achieve the best results

We offer internships to candidates from a variety of undergraduate subject backgrounds, though it is more common for Life Sciences interns to have a STEM or management subject background - what you bring with you enables you to thrive and helps us to continue to grow. Exposure to consulting within a student society is not required, but you will need to evidence your interest in commercial strategy and Life Sciences clearly in your application. Our internships are predominately aimed at undergraduate and master's students or for those starting out in their career.

Internships within Life Sciences usually last around 12 weeks and are designed to expose individuals to working on client projects. Interns can expect responsibility from the outset as a valued member of the project team. Throughout your time at Simon-Kucher, you will contribute to analysis and results and can benefit from working alongside experienced Consultants, Directors and Partners.

As part of your application, you will be required to complete a set of pre-screening questions, including some motivation questions. Please consider carefully how to get across to us everything we are looking for. We encourage you to personalize your answers, as we're looking to get to know the real you! It is obvious when candidates use tools such as ChatGPT, and those who write their own answers stand out the most. Your application will be considered incomplete if you do not answer these questions. If your application is progressed, expect an early-stage online selection test to demonstrate your numerical, verbal, and inductive reasoning skills, followed by a first round Teams interview with the HR team.
