Location: Sandgate Hydrotherapy Pool - Kendal

About this opportunity

Sandgate Hydrotherapy Pool offers professionally supervised hydrotherapy sessions tailored for both swimmers and non-swimmers in a private, supportive, and non-competitive environment.



You will be joining a team of dedicated lifeguards who work together to provide:
Affordable therapy sessions designed to be accessible to everyone. A warm pool, heated 10C above standard temperatures, for enhanced comfort and relaxation. Specialised group sessions that cater to diverse needs and abilities. Confidence building and emotional support to help pool users feel safe and empowered. A welcoming space that encourages social interaction and community connection.

Who we are looking for...

We are looking for lifeguards to help support the operations of the hydrotherapy pool. Your prime responsibilities are to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pool users, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.



Shifts are varied, with a mixture of midweek and weekend working available. A NPLQ qualification is desirable along with an understanding of swimming pool operations and lifeguarding responsibilities.



Consideration will be given to splitting the full-time post into two part-time positions for suitable candidates.
