We focus on ensuring our residents live fulfilled, active, and meaningful lives in a safe and supportive environment and now we're looking for a passionate Lifestyle & Wellbeing Co-Ordinator to join us in making a real difference to the lives of our residents.

As our Lifestyle & Wellbeing Coordinator, you'll bring energy, creativity and compassion to the heart of our home. You'll design and deliver a wide range of activities and events tailored to residents' interests and needs, helping them to live life to the fullest. From arts and crafts to gentle exercise, from music and reminiscence sessions to community outings, you'll ensure every resident has opportunities to stay engaged, active and connected.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, plan, and implement a comprehensive and varied activities programme - to push the boundaries of the typical activity programme. Create and maintain a schedule of visiting entertainers, such as musicians, dancers, and performers, to provide our residents with regular entertainment. Organise and coordinate day trips and outings that are safe, enjoyable, and engaging for our residents. Plan, organise and lead daily activities that promote wellbeing, independence and fun Encourage residents to take part and adapt activities to individual abilities Build relationships with residents and families to gather life story information and to use this detail to produce person centred care plans and activities. Monitor and evaluate the impact of activities on residents' wellbeing. Support special events, seasonal celebrations and visits from local groups or entertainers Working with care colleagues and the management team to plan and organise fundraising events and activities for the benefit of our residents and local community. Keep up to date with the latest trends, innovations, and technologies in activities and events programming for residents. Create and design posters, flyers, and other promotional materials to advertise our events and activities. To assist in producing a newsletter that will inform, and entertain our elderly residents, relatives, and staff. Manage and maintain our social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram, by posting updates, photos, and videos of our events and activities. To be in line with and follow CQC policies and procedures.

Requirements:



Previous experience in activity coordination, wellbeing, event planning and community engagement or a similar role within a care home or healthcare setting is preferable but not essential. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity, innovation and the ability to adapt activities to meet varying needs. A caring and compassionate approach. Confident in delivering group and 1 to 1 activities. A team player who engages well with others. Flexible and adaptable to change, sense of humour and positive outlook. A genuine interest in promoting independence and lifestyle opportunities for the elderly. IT proficient and familiarity with social media platforms and content creation. Valid driver's license preferable, but not essential. Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference.

Pay: 12.50 per hour
