Job Summary



We are seeking a

Lift Service Engineer

to join our field service team. This role is the key client-facing position within our business, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising lift systems while ensuring excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Act as an ambassador of Mitsubishi Electric when attending customer sites. Manage allocated service route and complete all planned maintenance to the agreed schedule. Diagnose, adjust, and resolve issues to improve lift performance. Provide clients with a summary of work completed and electronically close worksheets. Comply fully with all site health & safety requirements. Escalate issues, including spare part needs and lift shutdowns, in a timely manner. Support service department initiatives to improve efficiency and performance. Assist and collaborate with other field service engineers when required. Support supervisors and the broader service management team. Promote a "Work Safe, Go Home Safe" culture.

Qualifications & Skills



NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance (or equivalent qualification). Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with the ability to apply these in practice. Ability to interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Skilled in using standard test instruments and hand tools. Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance reactive and planned work. Effective communication skills for building client relationships. Ability to work with engineering teams to resolve unusual operational issues. Computer literate, familiar with field service software and MS Office.

Performance Expectations



Completion of all planned maintenance activities on time each week/month. Achievement of call-out response times for passenger entrapment and breakdowns. Zero maintenance-related insurance item defects. Positive client feedback regarding service delivery and professionalism.

Pay: 45,000.00-48,000.00 per year
