Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Lift Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

Design and develop engineering solutions using tools such as MATLAB and Simulink. Create and interpret schematics, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Utilise mechanical knowledge to contribute to system design and integration. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in design documentation. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues effectively. Collaborate with team members to optimise processes and enhance product performance. Develop and maintain documentation for engineering projects, including specifications and test plans. Use LabView for data acquisition and instrument control as required. Employ SolidWorks for 3D modelling and simulation of components.

Requirements

A degree in Engineering or a related field is essential. Strong understanding of logic controllers and their applications in engineering systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively. Mechanical knowledge relevant to the development of engineering solutions is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical information clearly. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
