We're now looking for an experienced and motivated
Platform Lift Installer
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various products and systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Platform Lift Installer, you'll be responsible for installing a range of platform lift systems, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards. You'll work closely with an Installers mate, project managers, site teams, and clients to deliver installations on time and to specification.
Responsibilities
Install products according to specifications and company guidelines.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
Work alongside experienced engineers to install, test, and commission lift systems.
Reading and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the installation process.
Document installation processes and report any discrepancies or issues encountered.
Carry out site surveys and prepare for installations.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar installation role is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and installation techniques is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Motivated and eager to learn

A valid driver's licence is needed for travel between job sites.
Requirements:
Hold a valid UK driving license.
Have GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CSCS card or relevant trade certification is desirable.
