Lifting Engineer - Full Time

Location: Llandudno Junction, North Wales

Lifting and Safety Limited provides specialist inspection services for lifting, plant, mobility, and height safety equipment. Established in 2015, our depot is conveniently located near the A55 at Llandudno Junction. We are proud members of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).

We are currently seeking a full-time Lifting Engineer to join our small, friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for thorough examinations of clients' equipment and, occasionally, our own hire fleet.

Role Overview

This is a varied and hands-on role that includes (but is not limited to):

On-site LOLER and PUWER inspection and testing of lifting equipment Inspection and examination of lifting equipment, lifting accessories, height safety equipment, mobility equipment, passenger lifts, plant, machinery, and MEWPs Repairs and servicing of overhead cranes Daily interaction with customers, often at their own premises Beam and anchor proof load testing Safety lifeline examination and testing Occasional cover at our shop Predominantly working across North Wales
Candidate Requirements

Applicants should:

Have proven experience within the lifting or inspection industry Possess a mechanical engineering background Be computer literate Be self-motivated, well-presented, and professional Have strong communication and customer service skills Hold a full UK driving licence
