Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lifting Equipment Training Instructor to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality training programmes focused on the safe and effective use of lifting equipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to engage with diverse groups of learners. Experience with lifting equipment ie: slings, shackles, and cranes an advantage but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions on lifting equipment safety and operation. Conduct assessments to evaluate trainees' understanding and competency. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback. Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees post-training. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during training activities. Utilize effective communication techniques to engage participants and encourage questions. Employ up-selling techniques when discussing additional training or equipment options.

Experience

Proven experience in a training or instructional role, preferably related to lifting equipment or safety training. Strong analytical skills to assess trainee performance and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
