Light Gauge De Coiler
Job Description
USP Steels Ltd is seeking a motivated Machine Operator to support our light gauge steel processing operations. This role focuses on running de-coiling machinery that processes material between 0.4mm and 4mm thick, ensuring smooth production within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Safely set up, operate, and oversee de-coiling line equipment
Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets
Carry out quality checks and input results into a tablet system
Maintain high standards of safety and 5S workplace organisation
Take ownership of shift coordination to keep production on track
Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing, ideally in steel processing
Direct experience with sheet steel handling (required)
Strong focus on safety and quality standards
Team-oriented, reliable, and confident in taking initiative
