These roles, reflect the growing demand for conversion to LED lighting solutions combined with intelligent controls systems across commercial, public sector and infrastructure environments. We are seeking two professionals who can bridge the gap between opportunity and delivery, supporting our Specification Managers and Major Projects Team.

Purpose of the Role:


The primary purpose of the role is to deliver site surveys of one off and ongoing projects, accurately measuring and creating drawings, precisely noting the existing lighting type and understanding any potential need / opportunity to deploy an enhanced lighting controls solution that would bring added benefit to the client. The role requires coordination of complex multi-site projects, keeping clear and concise communication and project management skills to ensure all proposals are returned on time and to the highest standard. The role would also be working with the lighting design department to complete lighting design schemes as and when required.

Acting on direction from the Specification and Major Projects Teams, you will help bring technical clarity and commercial value to projects nationwide, ensuring lighting and control solutions are effectively surveyed, specified and delivered.

You will also play a key role in deploying ASD's own eMotion lighting control offering, a flexible and scalable system that enables energy efficiency, intelligent automation and seamless integration with building management systems. This technology is central to our offering and continues to drive client value in both public and private sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct detailed site surveys to assess incumbent lighting types, layouts, conditions and upgrade potential Commission and support lighting control systems (wired, wireless and integrated solutions) across UK sites Collaborate closely with Specification Managers and the Major Projects Team to progress client opportunities Manage project timelines, technical accuracy and document delivery across multiple sites Provide fast track lighting design support when needed Deliver professional client engagement that builds trust and repeat business Recognise and act on commercial opportunities during project assessments Support the integration between sales, design and operations teams

Person Specification:



Background in lighting is essential, with experience from manufacturers, electrical wholesalers or contractors preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to record and communicate technical information clearly Proficient in Relux or Dialux and Microsoft Excel. AutoCAD experience is a plus (training provided if required) Comfortable working independently on-site and in client facing roles Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the UK (projects will be regionally allocated where possible) Customer focused, practical and solution-oriented approach
