The Middle Inn Bamburgh, is a traditional English Pub serving pub favourites, using fresh local produce. The menu offers Light lunches, Sandwiches and House Favourites

We are currently seeking a dedicated Chef De Partie to join our team in the Kitchen. The kitchen is fast paced using the best of quality fresh ingredients. This role is to start as soon as possible.

Ideally some experience of working in a fast paced kitchen would be helpful, but this isn't essential as full training will be given

The candidate should be energetic, highly motivated and have experience in working in a fast paced, quality food environment. The ideal candidate is someone who is hungry, driven. We want someone who really goes out of the way to be a team member.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices. Assist with the organisation of the kitchen and maintain cleanliness throughout the cooking area. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the head chef. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings.
