We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and production, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of excellence.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
