Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth operations Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials Ensure all cooking equipment is properly maintained and cleaned Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols Work as part of a team to deliver exceptional service during busy periods

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the hospitality industry Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques Previous supervisory or team management experience is preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
