We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Assist in supervising kitchen staff and managing team operations during shifts Monitor food production processes to ensure quality and consistency Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery Participate in menu planning and development as needed

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Previous experience in supervising or managing kitchen teams is advantageous Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Strong communication skills, both verbal and written A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences Culinary qualifications or relevant training is preferred but not essential

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
