We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Chef to join our kitchen team. As a Line Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in similar culinary roles within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in supervising or training kitchen staff is highly desirable.
