We are looking for a passionate and skilled Line Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in food production for different service areas, including fine dining and catering events.
Support the team during busy shifts by managing food preparation and ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen management on inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements based on customer feedback.
Supervise junior kitchen staff when needed, providing guidance on cooking techniques and workflow efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with health standards at all times.
Assist with dietary department requirements by preparing specialized meals for guests with specific dietary needs.
Support shift management by coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during events or regular service hours.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Chef or similar role within the food industry, preferably with banquet and fine dining experience.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
Experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced culinary environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Familiarity with inventory management, stock control, and food service management systems.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
Experience in catering, restaurant management, or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
Skills in menu planning, shift management, and culinary innovation are a plus.
