We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in food presentation and ensure dishes are served promptly and at the correct temperature Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing, sanitising, and storing utensils and ingredients Monitor stock levels and notify management of supplies needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service times Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently Support in training new staff members and supervise junior team members as required Contribute to menu development ideas based on current trends and customer preferences

Qualifications



Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Supervising experience or leadership qualities are desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Team management skills with a focus on fostering a collaborative work environment Good understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential Previous experience in food production, serving, or restaurant operations is highly valued

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
