Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth kitchen operations Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality control at all times Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Maintain organised workstations, stock levels, and proper storage of ingredients and supplies Lead by example in maintaining a positive team environment, fostering collaboration and professionalism

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment Extensive food preparation and cooking experience in a professional setting Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Previous restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in culinary techniques Familiarity with hospitality operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence Leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
