Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards Assist in supervising junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow Uphold high standards of presentation and quality in all dishes served

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations Supervising experience within a culinary or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment Good communication skills and team management abilities Experience in food production, restaurant service, and hospitality environments is advantageous
