We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food production, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
Support kitchen team members in food preparation and plating to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Supervise junior staff when required, providing guidance and leadership to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste
Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation throughout the kitchen environment
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Experience
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Demonstrable skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Supervising or team management experience is advantageous but not essential; leadership qualities are valued
Familiarity with food production processes and culinary techniques
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service operations
Previous experience serving or working closely with front-of-house teams is beneficial
