We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and production, along with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service. Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when necessary. Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Participate in menu development by providing input on new dishes or improvements.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead others. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help others succeed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
