As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food production, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including supervising junior kitchen staff when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste.
Contribute creative ideas for menu development and enhancements based on seasonal ingredients.
Skills
