Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality control Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and leadership to maintain high standards of service Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery Assist in menu planning and development as needed Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Experience



Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards Knowledge of culinary techniques and restaurant operations Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members Familiarity with food production processes and maintaining high standards of quality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 24,420.00-33,175.59 per year
