Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with experience in both fine dining and catering environments. This role requires a commitment to food safety, quality, and teamwork, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality. Assist in menu planning and inventory management to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent food service and guest satisfaction. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional culinary experiences.

Experience

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is required. Banquet experience is preferred, along with knowledge of dietary department operations. Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising kitchen staff. Familiarity with food production techniques and restaurant management practices. Proven ability in menu planning, food handling, and shift management. Culinary experience in fine dining or high-volume environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the food industry. Experience with bartending or serving can be an asset but is not mandatory.
