Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. Previous culinary experience is an advantage but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm for the role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
