To control, manage and organise all intake staff;
To control, manage and organise all maintenance staff;
To control, manage and organise all production staff;
To control pallets and packaging stock;
Overall responsibility to ensure food quality and safety systems are implemented.
Maintain all factory hygiene standards with regard to all aspects of the packhouse floor;
Aid the QA Manager with Company Quality Audits;
Participate in Company meetings and audits;
Implement new procedures and work methods;
To attend all job specific training courses to ensure that all guidelines are fully up to date;
To liaise with the HR department to ensure that all aspects of human resources are upheld;
To ensure all logistics deadlines are met;
Maintain staff discipline with regard to Health and Safety, timekeeping, quality etc;
Endeavour to maintain a team spirit within the Company;
Wherever possible, reduce costs;
Ensure you meet Company timekeeping and attendance requirements;
Follow all Health and Safety guidelines as per Company Health and Safety policy;
Maintain competent factory and hygiene rules at all times;
As part of the team, give advice and help other departments within the Company, whenever needed.
