You'll be joining our amazing Operations team as Line Leader working 2pm-10pm shift. Working within a fast paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement, right in the heart beat of the business.

Job Purpose:
The main objective of the role is to oversee the manufacturing process on the production lines. Responsible for leading a team to achieve production targets and ensure smooth operations on the production line. Working with the Shift Supervisor, the Line Leader will optimise the efficiency of the production process, ensuring that products are made efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
Duties / Areas of Responsibility:
Set up and operate production lines with the assistance of Technicians (where required)
Assign workers production line tasks
Lead and supervise a team of production personnel (both permanent and temporary staff) to ensure production targets are met
Manage/coach production workers in effectively completing tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure full compliance with Company policies and industry regulations ie; Quality, Health & Safety at Work and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Effectively utilise colleagues when assigning tasks, including periods of down time
Train and mentor new production line workers on procedures and safety protocols
Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure smooth running of production line
Monitor production line efficiencies and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are met and orders are completed on time
Carry out quality checks and complete the necessary paperwork to track and record line efficiency
Identify production line issues quickly and find ways to resolve them so that deadlines are still met without compromising quality with the support of the Shift Supervisor and Engineers
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
