Royal Holloway, University of London, is ranked in the top 30of all UK universities. The Residential Facilities team would like to invite applications for the post of Linen & Facilities Assistant.

An energetic individual is required to join a professional and enthusiastic team.


The primary focus of this role is the management and coordination of linen logistics to support the successful delivery of the University summer conference business. Key duties include stock counting, organising and overseeing linen deliveries, and ensuring timely distribution across residential buildings.


In addition to linen operations, the post holder will assist with minor maintenance tasks, move furniture and supplies, and carry out safety checks to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment. All tasks contribute to delivering an exceptional student and visitor experience in line with Commercial Services' mission of Delivering Inspirational Service.


The successful candidate will communicate well with customers and colleagues, have good attention to detail and enjoy team working. Basic experience of data input and an understanding of health and safety in the workplace would be beneficial.

The position is full time working 5 out of 7 days a week on a rota-based shift pattern, including some weekend working.
